Ingredients:
250
g Tofu
1/4 Cup Engevita Yeast
To Taste Tamari or Soy Sauce
1/3 Cup Chopped Onions
1/2 Cup Sliced Mushrooms
2 Pita Bread (Pocket Bread)
Your favourite sauce or Mayonnaise,
Sliced Tomatoes & Alfalfa Sprouts or
Chopped Lettuce
Directions:
Cut
tofu in 1/2 inch thick slices.
Coat both sides with yeast.
Put coated tofu into preheated, lightly oiled
skillet.
Cook on low heat until browned. At the same time
sauté the onions and mushrooms.
Heat pita bread so that it is easily opened.
Place 1/2 of the tofu and other ingredients into
each pita.
Drizzle with sauce.
